Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul singer songwriter and actress. Apart from receiving a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she has also been nominated for the winner of an Academy Award. Andra Days is a ferocious singer who can also write beautifully. She is not only an expert in throwback R&B Her musical sources are blues and gospel jazz.
