Annie Mist Thorisdottir comes from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie is the first female to take home in the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. The media has praised her for being the first woman ever to win the two CrossFit Games: in 2011 as well as 2012. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie, her parents, as well as her siblings, were born and raised at Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she was a sports and fitness enthusiast. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she was able to win consecutively. Additionally, in 2014 Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently, in 2021, she took home a Bronze Medal in the CrossFit Games. At present, Annie coaches and trains in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has gained recognition for her athletic skills, is featured in ads for sporting products like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs and other. Her self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
