Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. When she was two, her mother fled an violent relationship. She came back into Pickler's world in 1995 when she took custody of her. But it didn't go as was planned. At the age of 12, the court gave back Pickler to her grandparents - who took care of her until she reached adulthood. Pickler was, in the absence of her parents and older siblings, became busy to be a mother. She stated that her time was not enough and that she had to learn how to care for the family from a very young age.
