Her childhood was a turbulent one. As a toddler she left her mother's abusive relationship. She came back into Pickler's world in 1995 when she was given custody of her. It did not work out very well. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents who raised her to adulthood. Pickler with the help of her parents as well as her elder siblings, became too busy to become a mom. The mother of three confessed to her that in the absence of both parents Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not attend school.
